Are you a Coke person or a Pepsi person? I don't care what anyone says, you can tell the difference between the two if you did a blind taste test. PepsiCo is one of the most popular soft drink companies in the entire world and makes billions of dollars every year. To be exact, PepsiCo brought in $86.39 billion dollars in 2022, according to Macrotrends.

According to Newsweek, Pepsi was introduced to the United States in 1893 and it was originally called "Brad's Drink." Five years later the pop was given a blue can and it has closely remained the same ever since. The creator of Pepsi was named Caleb Bradham and he initially created the drink to help people with digestion problems or to soothe stomach aches. For the first time since 2008, Pepsi is making a change to its logo.

Pepsi is going back in time with its new branding logo and it's possible you've seen something like this from them before. You don't necessarily need to hop into the DeLorean to go back to when a logo that closely resembles this new one was introduced... but it has been a while. KCRG reports that "customers like Pepsi's logo from the 1900s. So the company has made the change and decided to go back to it."

While the logo on the right, in the picture above, may seem familiar, Pepsi officials do mention the differences between their new logo from the previous one. According to KCRG, officials say "it features new font colors along with a different border."

Pepsi believes this new logo will draw more attention to its zero-sugar drinks, which they anticipate will be a big part of the company's growth plan in the upcoming years.
