Comedy Legend to Reschedule Show at Paramount Theatre

Jerry Seinfeld has been called "America's Premier Comedian". He developed a television show and named it after himself in 1989, where he brought his hilarious observations from everyday life from the stand-up comedy stage to the small screen.

"Seinfeld" amused and entertained audiences for almost 10 highly-rated years and gave them infinite quotable lines and catchphrases in the process. The star went on from this "show about nothing" to host a critically-acclaimed web series "Comedians in Cars Drinking Coffee". He's now back on the stand-up trail and will bring his new act to Cedar Rapids soon.

Just not as soon as originally scheduled, according to KCRG.

It's been announced that Seinfeld will reschedule his June 24th event due to the Coronavirus pandemic. As to when that is set to take place is yet unknown. Hold off on the airing of grievances, and to your tickets if you were lucky enough to get them. They will be valid for the yet-to-be-determined rescheduled date.

The Paramount website says "the venue and tour management are working together to determine a new date and further information will be communicated as it becomes available."

Seinfeld's postponement comes on the same day as a popular local music act announces their rescheduling at the McGrath Amphitheatre. The Pork Tornadoes show is moved from June 19th to Friday, September 25th. Tickets to the June show will be valid on the new date in September.
