Jordan Davis teamed up with pop artist and well-known songwriter Julia Michaels for a brand-new song, "Cool Anymore." An accompanying music video shows the "Slow Dance in a Parking Lot" singer and Michaels singing to each other in a church — and being particularly uncool at a photoshoot.

"But you don't have to be cool anymore / Show me the side that nobody else knows / Drop that act with your keys at the door / Lose the mirrors, I see through the smoke / Save all that for the rest of the world," Davis sings in the song's chorus as Michaels harmonizes. "Come on, let me love you, girl / And don't you know that I'm already yours? / You don't have to be cool anymore / Cool anymore."

The laid-back "Cool Anymore" was produced by Paul DiGiovanni and written by Davis and Michaels with Ross Copperman, Emily Weisband and Nicolle Galyon. Davis calls it "a song about not taking things too seriously."

"We spend a lot of time playing shows, and it’s easy to get caught up in it, but this song is just a reminder to leave work at work," he adds. "It’s a job. Enjoy it, go out to do the music thing, but then come back and be a husband and a friend.”

Adds Michaels, "It’s just a fun, chill vibe that has a nice little groove to it and makes you smile and feel good. We’re lucky to be able to go home and let loose with the ones we love.”

"Cool Anymore" isn't Michaels' first time diving into the country realm. She was also the featured artist on Keith Urban's No. 1 single "Coming Home."
