If you have tickets for the Journey show in the Quad Cities for later this year, you can make other plans and get a full refund on your ticket purchase."

According to CBS2, via the New York Associated Press, "Journey is the latest act to cancel their 2020 tour because of the coronavirus pandemic."

Just another cancellation for 2020 and I'm sure there will be more. I was really excited to see the band on July 2, 2020 at the TaxSlayer in Moline. I saw the boys a few years ago and was blown away! I guess we'll have to wait until this is all over to see Journey live again.

The story said the band decided to cancel the tour instead of postponing. This way, folks who bought tickets will get a full refund. The tour was going to last 5 months with 60+ shows booked in the United States.

I sure do miss live music. It's been 4 months since I've been to a concert and I don't think there will be shows anytime soon. It's a real bummer, but just think of the party we will have when we're all safe and this is over!

In the meantime, I'll leave you with a live clip of a Journey concert form 2017. If you turn it up really loud and grab a cold beer, it will almost be the same.

Unfortunately, it's all we have right now.
