July 4th Fireworks In and Near Cedar Rapids
Celebrate the 4th of July with friends and family by checking out one of these local fireworks displays.Come see Jamie Lynn Spears at the McGrath Amphitheater on the fourth, gates open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.
Saturday, June 28
Kernels vs. Lumberkings Game
Where: 950 Rockford Rd SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404
Time: Gates open at 5 p.m. and first pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. Fireworks will be after the game.
Fairfax USA Days
Where: The baseball field, 700 Linn Street, Fairfax, IA 52228
Time: 9:30 p.m.
Linn County Fair
Where: 201 Central City Rd. Central City, IA 52214
Time: The fair grounds open at 7 a.m. and close at 1 a.m. Fireworks will be after the truck and tractor pull. The grandstand opens at 6 p.m. and the truck and tractor pull starts at 7 p.m.
Thursday, July 3
Cedar Rapids Boat Club
Where: 1700 Ellis Blvd NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405,
Time: Fireworks will be at dusk.
Information: Fireworks on the River has been rescheduled to September 6th, 2014 due to the high river levels. This event will be free to the public.
Friday, July 4
Anamosa
Where: The football field, 209 Sadie Street, Anamosa, IA 52205
Time: Fireworks will be at dusk.
Information: This event is free to the public. It begins at 6:30 with a flag retirement ceremony, followed by a parade until fireworks at dusk.
Kernels vs. Snappers Game
Where: 950 Rockford Rd SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404
Time: Gates open at 4 p.m. and first pitch is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. Fireworks will be after the game.
Information: The Cedar Rapids Kernels tickets purchased in advance cost $7 - $11, tickets purchased the day of the game cost $8 - $12.
Cedar Rapids
Where: Downtown Cedar Rapids, get a guaranteed seat to see the fireworks at the McGrath Amphitheater following a performance by Jamie Lynn Spears.
Time: 9:45pm
Information: The fireworks show is free to the public, and Park Cedar Rapids will provide $2 event parking.
Central City
Where: 201 Central City Road, Central City, IA 52214
Time: Fireworks will be at dusk.
Information: This event includes a parade, a street dance, and other downtown activities, and it is free to the public.
Coralville
Where: S.T. Morrison Park located at Kirkwood, Coralville, IA 52241
Time: Fireworks will begin when it gets dark.
Information: The Coralville fireworks show is free to the public, and will be following a parade and activities in the park.
Hills
Where: At the ballpark, 201 Main St W, Hills, IA 52235
Time: 9:05 p.m.
Information: This fireworks show is free to the public, and follows a "Freedom For All" parade.
Tipton
Where: 650 South Main Street, Tipton, IA 52772
Time: Fireworks will be at dusk.
Information: The Tipton fireworks are free to the public, following games in Tipton City Park.
Saturday, July 5

Time: The fireworks will begin after the Jazzfest, around 9:30 p.m.
Information: The Iowa City fireworks show is part of the Iowa City Jazz Festival, and the event is free to the public.
