We are extremely thankful to have Bob Lacey and Sheri Lynch on the air here at 104-5 KDAT. For years, they've been "waking you up", entertaining and informing listeners through good and trying times alike, much like all of us in this industry strive to do every day.

Their peers have just honored Bob & Sheri with a nomination into a club that signifies being among the best in the business. We congratulate them on being in the 2020 Class of the Radio Hall of Fame nominees. They are among 24 nominees across six categories. They are in great company this year, with familiar names like Glenn Beck, Larry Elder, and the late, great Cokie Roberts also being chosen among the cream of the crop.

The even better news is that they are in one of the categories that listeners can actually vote on. Starting July 13, the "radio insiders" get the first crack at picking the potential inductees from among their peers. Then, starting on July 20, the listening public will be welcome to join in. Details are on the HOF's website now, where voting will begin when it's available.

If you enjoy what you hear every morning from 5-9 a.m. on KDAT, please consider giving your vote to Bob & Sheri in the category of "Music Format On-Air Personality".

We (and likely they) will keep you posted on Bob & Sheri's progress in the voting and will let you in on how to listen to the ceremony in October once the details are unveiled.
