KDAT Welcomes Celtic Yuletide To The Paramount Theatre

The famous voice of Riverdance on Broadway, Michael Londra comes to Cedar Rapids this fall with a group of renowned Irish singers and dancers. KDAT welcomes "Celtic Yuletide" Saturday, November 30, at 8 p.m. at the Paramount Theatre!

It's an evening of "Christmas in Ireland" as told in song and dance.

"Irish musicians join Michael onstage to perform age-old Celtic airs on the haunting uilleann pipes, fiddle, low whistles and the national drum of Ireland, the bodhran. The thrill the audience with their own frenetic traditional jigs and reels. The musicians are some of the most popular traditional players in Ireland, playing festivals and concerts throughout the year."

Performers from Londra's stint with Riverdance complete the evening, with dances choreographed to celebrate the Christmas season.
