Jeopardy! will resume producing shows on November 30th with guests hosts for the time being, kicking it off with Ken Jennings hosting.

"There will only ever be one Alex Trebek, but I'm honored to be helping Jeopardy! out with this," Ken said. Jennings holds multiple records for the game show, including:
  • Highest earning American game show contestant ($4,522,700)
  • The longest winning streak on Jeopardy!
  • Highest average correct responses per game

"Alex believed in the importance of [the show] and always said that he wanted it to go on after him.  We'll honor his legacy by continuing to produce the game he loved," said Mike Richards, the show's Executive Producers. The show will end the year by playing the best of Alex, airing their last episode with him on January 4th.
