Former Iowa tight end George Kittle is setting the world on fire on the football field with the San Francisco 49ers, who are making their way to Miami to play in the Super Bowl on February 2.

Off the field, Kittle continues to make us proud with an "Iowa nice" gesture one family will not forget. San Francisco TV station KRON report that the wife and son of fallen military vet Martin LaMar of Sacramento, California will attend the Big Game for free, courtesy of Kittle.

Lamar was shot and killed in Iraq in 2011 serving his second tour of active duty in the military. His first came back in the Gulf War in the early '90s.

Josephine Lamar grew to love football because of her husband and thanks to donated tickets from Kittle, she and her son get to go to the game. Kittle donated the tickets in conjunction with USAA and the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors.

Our condolences go to Josephine Lamar on the loss of her husband and a huge thanks to George Kittle for his generosity.
