After suffering injuries in the shooting that took place around 7:52 Wednesday morning at the Kum & Go store at 3132 1st Ave. NE in Cedar Rapids, police report Reginald Ward, Jr., age 27, of Moline, died at 4:40 this morning. His body is being sent to the state medical examiner's office for an autopsy.

Greg Buelow of the CRPD identifies the vehicle involved as a silver four-door, which left the scene of the shooting and headed west on First Avenue.

No arrests have yet been made and police say it was not random. Police are still seeking information in this homicide investigation.
