Lost Island A Nominee for Nation’s Best Outdoor Waterpark

Lost Island Waterpark in Waterloo is now open!  Like so many others, they are operating at reduced capacity, according to their website. A new survey says its visitors have made it one of the top outdoor waterparks in the nation.

10Best is a division of USA Today and has nominated its Best Outdoor Waterparks, with Lost Island being among them. 10Best starts off its poll by saying "someday, we'll all be ready to pack our suitcases again and head out on our next adventures. In the meantime, we'll keep supporting the places that inspire us.".

You can vote through July 20 at 11 a.m. here and the announcement of the winner of the award comes on their website July 31.
