Detectives with the Kansas City Police Department in Missouri took to their social media accounts on Tuesday to ask for help identifying a suspect.

In the post, police said officers are following up on an investigation into an ID theft case from last summer.

Police say the suspect used a stolen identity to purchase a $58,000 Ford Explorer from a Ford dealership in July of last year.

Police tweeted the photo of the suspect, and then they tweeted again only 10 minutes later to say that the guy was identified. In their follow up tweet, the Kansas City Police Department wrote that they were able to identify the suspect. When they searched his name, they found he was being held on the Kansas side of the border on unrelated charges. They said they've submitted the case to their own prosecution to take the next steps.

Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Keep reading to see if your favorite beach town made the cut.
