Marshalltown Work Release Inmate Escapes

According to WHO-TV in Des Moines, "The Iowa Department of Corrections is searching for an escaped work release inmate."

The man who didn't return was 33-year-old Luke David Sears. He was supposed to return to the Marshalltown Residential Center on Friday, June 21st. He never showed up, and now police are asking for you help to find him.

Luke David Sears is 5'6" and weighs 178 pounds. If you have any information that could lead to an arrest, please contact your local police department.

His crimes range from domestic abuse assault and second-degree burglary. If you see him, don't approach him as he could be dangerous. Again, the best thing to do is leave the scene and call your local authorities.
