Miley Cyrus opened up about her relationships with Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, revealing whether there was ever any competition between them.

In a new interview with Capital Breakfast on Monday morning (May 28), the pop star, who just announced her next album She Is Coming, discussed the controversial lyrics featured on her new song "Cattitude." In it, she references Cardi B and Nicki Minaj's feud when she raps the lines, “I love you, Nicki, but I listen to Cardi.”

The "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart" hitmaker clarified that she didn't mean any harm by bringing them up on the track, as well as shut down any speculation that this was her way of revealing whose side she's on.

“I don’t think there is beef now anymore,” she explained. “Actually, one of my songs says ‘You want to know if we’re really beefin’? There’s no beef. I’m a vegan.’ I think you’re allowed to enjoy two artists that fill a similar lane.”

This led Cyrus to also deny there were any feuds between her and her fellow Disney Channel co-stars growing up, especially after she posted a photo on Instagram alongside the caption, “I love you, Selena, but I listen to Demi."

“I just always grew up collaborating with Selena and Demi, and there was never any competition," Cyrus said. "That’s why Ariana [Grande] is one of my best friends. When you are authentically yourself, no one can be you. So, you’re never worried about someone stealing your place because it can’t be taken because you’re the only one."
