Moco Game Room & Hot Dog Bar is Now Open! [PHOTOS]

I'm always on the hunt for new restaurants to try, so when I saw that Moco Game Room & Hot Dog Bar opened in Cedar Rapids last weekend, I knew I would have to make a trip there ASAP. Some friends and I stopped by for lunch yesterday and we were not disappointed!

The new restaurant is located at 1600 E Ave NE, which formerly housed Mahoney's and Dick's Tap & Shake Room. The interior has a vintage feel, filled with all sorts of cool lighting, plants, and, as the name suggests, games.

As far as the food goes, you should definitely try one of the many interesting hot dogs, topped with everything from avocado, to hard-boiled eggs, to potato chips, to pineapple, to Captain Crunch! We tried the classic Chicago Dog and the Loaded Hot Dog, which was topped with Doritos, sour cream, bacon, and cheddar cheese.

More impressive than the hot dogs, though, is the Walking Nachos. They give you an entire TRAY of them and it could easily feed 3 to 4 people. My friend and I went with "The OG," while our coworker ordered the "Oh Yeah." I can confirm that both were delicious and left us incredibly full.

Overall, we had a great experience at Moco Game Room & Hot Dog Bar, and I 100% plan to return for more of those Walking Nachos. Until then, I will dream about them.
