National Voter Registration Day is a massive 50-state effort to register thousands of U.S. voters.

This year, both Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate and Linn County Auditor Joel Miller are encouraging all eligible Iowans to register to vote, or to make sure their current registration is up to date.

Iowans may check to see if they are registered to vote in their current zip code by visiting the Secretary of State’s website here.

If you want to find out more on how to register to vote, click here, or you can call the Linn County Election Services at 319-892-5300, extension 1.
