NewBo Women’s Music Festival Announces 2nd Annual Lineup

Why should the guys have all the fun? The live music scene in Cedar Rapids is more diverse and powerful than ever.

Women rock, and will prove it at the 2nd annual NewBo Women's Music Festival. The event takes place over two days, Friday, August 30 from 5-10 p.m. and Saturday, August 31 from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. at the amazing NewBo City Market!

VIP tickets (a new feature this year) go on sale Friday, July 26, cost and more information to be announced, while general admission is FREE.

A great lineup has already been announced, including Boot Jack Band, Alisabeth Von Presley, Alicia Monee', One for The Ditch, Harper and Lee and the Scarlett Letter with more performers to be revealed soon.

Friday night's event is part of an extended Rock The Block, the free Friday night concerts held on the NewBo City Market grounds. Saturday features music all day on two stages.

Saturday will also include a local, women-led vendor marketplace along with women-created art installations and educational workshops
