Nikki Vogt Cancer Benefit This Sunday

Our friend Nichole Vogt has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Lymphoma. She will get chemo treatments every 28 days for the next 8 months, followed by radiation.

This particular cancer is treatable, but not curable. Nikki usually works two jobs, but due to this diagnosis, she's only able to work one and needs to take a lot of time off. Her medical expenses are already adding up, and it will only get worse.

That's why we are having a benefit this Sunday, July 7th at Tailgators in Cedar Rapids. We want to show Nikki how much we love her, by raising some money to help cover the gap from not being able to work and to help cover medical expenses.

The party will be outdoors on the patio of Tailgators on Center Point Road in Cedar Rapids. There will be a silent auction, food from Beast Row, raffles and great music from the following bands:

• Subliminal Rage
• Brandon Gibbs
• Unbalanced
• Slap 'N' Tickle

I almost forgot, it's also Nikki's birthday! She was born on July 7th, 1977. In other words, 7-7-77! So the cover charge will be $7, with all proceeds going to Nikki.
