Oelwein Man Charged in Rollover Accident

An Oelwein man is being cited for a traffic accident in rural Fayette County.

The sheriff received a report of the accident just before 9am Tuesday (June 2), at the intersection of 50th Street and "T" Avenue, northwest of Oelwein.

Responding deputies discovered the damaged vehicle in a field. The driver, 26 year old Aaron Siegel of Oelwein, was not injured. An investigation determined that Siegel was westbound when he lost control of his car. The 2004 Toyota Corolla entered the ditch and overturned, coming to rest upright in the field.

Siegel was not injured. He is being charged with Failure to Maintain Control.
