It's so good to have live entertainment back!

If you're like me you've looked for new ways to entertain yourself being cooped up during the long days of the pandemic. I had always heard how funny the "Impractical Jokers" TV series was, but it wasn't until this past year when I started watching it, and I really got into it!

If you're not familiar with it, the "Impractical Jokers" website describes it as a show about "four comedians and lifelong friends who compete to embarrass each other out amongst the general public with a series of hilarious and outrageous dares. When Sal, Joe, Q, and Murr challenge each other to say or do something, they have to do it."

Among that group is James Murray, aka "Murr" and I recently found out he is going on tour, and making a stop near Eastern Iowa. He'll be at the Rust Belt in East Moline and tickets are on sale now for what sounds like a fun show. The Rust Belt website says it's scheduled for September 12 at 7:30 (doors open at 6:45) and describes it as "a hilarious hang out with your favorite Joker at your favorite venue."

Ticket info can be found through Eventbrite and they range in price for $35-42. The Rust Belt's location is at 533 12th Ave inEast Moline, IL. General admission and early entry seating are available.

They have been airing a lot of reruns as social distancing sort of hinders the premise of the show but it's worth noting they have started airing new episodes of "Impractical Jokers" Thursday nights at 9 on TruTV as well.
