A breakfast brand has just recalled a lot of their product due to potential foreign material contamination.

According to the Food and Drug Administration, Continental Mills has issued a recall on their Great Value Buttermilk Pancake and Waffle Mix after fragments of a cable used to clear their processing line were discovered in a limited amount of their product.

The product was then distributed nationwide where consumers are able to purchase them through Walmart stores.

The affected lot that was recalled is UPC 078742370828, Lot code KX2063, with the Best By Date of 09/01/2023.

If you have purchased this product, the FDA asks that you dispose of it OR return it to the store for a replacement or refund.

Continental Mills is working with the FDA are working to ensure any affected product has been removed from the marketplace.

Continental Mills has also recalled their Kroger Buttermilk Pancake and Waffle Mix due to fragments of cable being discovered in some product.

This recall is only issued for 17 states: AL, AR, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MI, MO, MS, OH, SC, TN, TX, VA, WV.

For both pancake and waffle mix recalls, no contaminated products or injuries have been reported to date.
