As millions of Americans are stuck at home, dating (and getting good at it, if you will) has become difficult. Luckily, there's a dating site here to save us from the loneliness of social distancing.

Designed by Daniel Ahmadizadeh and Christopher Smeder, Quarantine Together launched on March 8th.

The app is message-based. Every night at 6, the users receive a message asking if they washed their hands today. If they say yes, the app introduces them to another user.

After some conversation, the app will give them the option to video chat.

For some, the app doesn't change much from their normal dating app usage.

Nivi Jayasekar said she always begins through messages, then moves to video or audio calls before meeting up with the prospects.

One might think dating apps would be struggling now, but Tinder is reporting a 10-15% increase in messaging.

Bumble said they're seeing a 21% increase in messages and video call usage.
