It’s not just the best scene in the first Thor: Ragnarok trailer — it’s the scene: Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk are reunited on the battle planet of Sakaar, where they’re meant to engage in a gladiator-style fight to the death for the amusement of thousands of bloodthirsty fans (and Jeff Goldblum). Instead, Thor is pumped to see his “friend from work.” In a new, extended look at that scene, we see that not everyone shares the god of thunder’s excitement.

The official clip from the upcoming sequel (via EW) offers an uninterrupted (but only slightly extended) version of the scene featured in the trailer, which takes place under the eye of The Grandmaster (Goldblum), who presides over the “games” and is very confused about the reunion happening below. Meanwhile, the “oops I crapped my pants” face on Tom Hiddleston’s Loki is priceless (lest you forget, Hulk SMASHED the crap out of Thor’s mischievous bro in The Avengers).

That scene is just one of many reasons why we’re excited to see what director Taika Waititi has done with the Asgardian corner of the MCU. The first reviews of Ragnarok appeared online today, with critics calling it “hilarious,” one of the funniest Marvel films to date, and the best Thor movie yet — which has us even more stoked for next month’s new MCU release.

Ragnarok also stars Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Anthony Hopkins and Idris Elba, and hits theaters on November 3.
