Rally to be Held Today For Former Washington Principal Ralph Plagman

A rally for former Washington High School Principal Ralph Plagman will be held this afternoon at 4:00 under the arcade at Washington High School in Cedar Rapids.

Plagman was asked to resign by the Cedar Rapids School District in the wake of a teacher-student sex scandal.

Plagman has worked for the district for 49 years, including 35 as principal at Washington.

Current and former students have taken to social media to express their anger and disappointment. They have also planned a rally for this afternoon under the arcade at the school.
