Rick Springfield’s Spotify 80s Playlist

As we gear up for the much-awaited Rick Springfield concert Saturday night at the Paramount Theatre, we are looking forward to all of his greatest hits, "stripped down" in an acoustic storyteller format. "Don't Talk To Strangers", "Human Touch", "Jessie's Girl" and lots more. But do you ever wonder what he listens to on the road between his own shows?

Us Weekly recently did an interview with Springfield where he reveals some of his favorites. His fellow 80s icons dominate his Spotify playlist, which you can take a look at below. Some highlights, as mentioned in the article, include Soft Cell's "Tainted Love" which in his words, “To me, this one always sounded like the 1960s filtered through 1981. Such a highly original track.”
