Comedy Central's latest roast may have been billed as a panning of actor Rob Lowe, but any viewer will tell you conservative pundit Ann Coulter was its true burn victim.

Coulter, who agreed to appear as part of her press tour for new book In Trump We Trust: E Pluribus Awesome! (Jesus), barely took her seat before comedians Nikki Glaser, Pete Davidson and even the seemingly benevolent Jewel tore into her like a series of circle saws on a weekend construction project.

"As a feminist, I can’t support everything that’s being said up here tonight. But as somebody who hates Ann Coulter, I'm delighted," Jewel said to much applause from the crowd.

"Jeff Ross is going to party like it’s 1999. Ann Coulter is going to vote like It’s 1899," she added.

One for the road: "Gay men love Ann Coulter. It’s because two minutes into hearing her speak, they remember why they hate pussy."

Davidson went for a seasonal ribbing, asking the requisite harvest question: "Ann Coulter, if you’re here who’s scaring the crows away from our crops?"

Then, this: "Last year we had Martha Stewart who sells sheets, and now we have Ann Coulter who cuts eye holes in them."

And in the event Coulter hadn't been completely torched, Glaser razed the stage with a super-sized blowtorch.

"Ann Coulter has written 11 books. Twelve if you count Mein Kampf," she said. "The only person you will ever make happy is the Mexican who digs your grave."

Coulter eventually had her shot at a rebuttal, and clumsily took aim at the comedians who'd ripped her apart (video's available via The Daily Caller). She had all the gripping magnetism of the sandman based on crowd reactions, but she insisted to The Hollywood Reporter that she was the show's star.

"I don’t notice 'mean,' but I do notice 'jokes,' and I didn’t hear many of those — until I took the mic!" she said. "Nothing offends me. Bored me is a different story...I’m sure there are lots of funny jokes about people dying. These weren’t those."
