This just in from KWWL TV, "According to the Buchanan County Sheriff's Office, people in the area have received calls from scammers impersonating the department."

Several people claim the caller says they are with the Sherriff's Office. They claim the person has a warrant out for their arrest. The villain tells the victim they can reduce the bond down to $500.

Scammers ask the people to purchase pre-paid cards and then turn over the pin number. In each case, the amount was $500. So far, one person has fallen for the scam. This information is courtesy of the Buchanan County Sheriff's Office.

If you get one of these calls, quickly hang up. Or, do what I always do when these idiots call: Record it, and make fun of them on the radio. It's a game I've been doing for years with these morons. I don't get many calls these days....I wonder why?

The scammers are the worst people in the world. They take advantage of the elderly and I think it sucks. They should all be thrown in jail....but that's just my opinion.
