In March of 2020, there was a rumor going around about a ‘Seinfeld Horror Game’ in development. There was even a trailer released for it:

But was this a real game? Turns out YES, it is!

Seinfeld: The Horror Game was created by RareBird Games.

The premise is that you are Jerry’s nephew, Donathan and you get to explore Jerry and Kramer’s apartments, Monk’s Diner, and other places made – all of which seem to appear to be….empty.

The gameplay sees you playing as a character named Donathan “as he survives the streets after his newly adoptive father abandons him at about 3am in the Big Apple [and] finds himself trapped in an endless loop of nightmares as he fights to find a bed to sleep in.”

RareBird says that Sinfeld Remastered (Yes, SINfeld) is an action horror comedy parody featuring various gameplay styles inspired by Resident Evil, Silent Hills and P.T.

There’s no official release date for Sinfeld Remastered, but the game’s first PS5 trailer can be viewed below.

I noticed all sorts of Seinfeld easter eggs in the trailer (photos below), including: a Frogger Arcade Game, a neon sign saying “Van Buren Boys,” spray-painted graffiti with the words “Assman Was Here.” There’s also a box of Junior Mints, a room full of Festivus Supplies, and ‘Donathan’ is wearing a “Human Fund” jacket. Maybe you'll be able to spot a few more. I sure hope the gameplay features Frank Costanza. Serenity Now!
