The musical lineup at 2018's Coachella festival is never too heavy on the country side of things (mostly because that's reserved for its immediate follow-up fest, the all-country Stagecoach). However, a prominent member of country royalty may not have been playing, but was spotted partying in the California desert, along with some "who'da thunk?" friends.

As evidenced by the Instagram shot posted by Nicki Minaj on Saturday night (April 14), none other than Shania Twain was throwing it down with the rapper's crew, which included the Weeknd, French Montana, and Quavo.

Everyone seemed to be having a fine time, including the 52-year-old Twain, who was dressed down in a pink hoodie and appeared to be feeling quite good, along with the rest of the artists in the shot.

Lest one dare to think it was simply a serendipitous publicity snap, Minaj assured fans that Twain "is so dope in real life." We agree, and think she's pretty dope in all areas of life!

Twain released her most recent album, the comeback set Now, in September of 2017 after a lengthy break from recording. That album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's all-genre Billboard 200 chart. The singer is about to embark on her extensive Shania Now Tour that takes her to nearly 50 cities across the U.S. and Canada from May through August.
