When "Storage Wars" auctioneer Emily Wears Kroul joined us on the KRNA Morning Show last year, she auctioned a banana on the air. Jaymz Larson paid top dollar for that piece of fruit and he later said it was the "best banana" he ever bought.

So it was no surprise to us when the Gazette reported that Emily had recently won the Women’s National Auctioneers' Association’s 31st International Auctioneer Championship, a competition she describes as the "Super Bowl" of Auctioneering.

We couldn't be more thrilled for Emily. The recently married 28-year old star of A&E Network show "Storage Wars" is tops in the nation at a job she loves, and her star is shining brightly.

According to the Gazette, Emily will serve as an ambassador for the Women's National Auctioneers' Association speaking to the press and supporting the association’s main charity, the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Her recent victory was even sweeter because for the first time in years, her mom was able to attend and watch her daughter win the big competition.
