Spend An Evening With Some Iowa Basketball Greats

One could make the case that we're living in a golden age for Iowa basketball. Trips to the NCAA Tournament. Back-to-back years with a First Team All-American selection. Keegan Murray going 4th overall in the NBA Draft. There is plenty to be excited about when it comes to Iowa basketball. Later this month, some of the biggest names in Hawkeye hoops will be appearing in Cedar Rapids and you can join them!

The event is being billed as 'An Evening Under the Stars with Hawkeye Elites'. It is scheduled for Wednesday, August 17th at the Double Z Bar and Grill on Ellis Blvd. in Cedar Rapids. Appearing at the event will be Iowa's all-time leading scorer Luka Garza, both Connor and Patrick McCaffery, Austin Ash, and Luka's father Frank Garza. Iowa fans can begin arriving that night at 6 p.m. Then, the night will go as follows.

• 7:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. - Autographs and photos with the players.
• 8:45 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. - Live question and answer session moderated by a guest speaker.
• 9:45 p.m. - Event ends.

Thanks to the NIL deal in college athletics, college athletes can appear at events that charge admission. If you'd like to hang with these Hawkeye greats the cost is $30 per person, or $60 for a family. That price includes a slice of pizza, a beverage, one photo or autograph, and the live question and answer session.
