Last October the KRNA Morning Show pulled a crazy stunt at the Hy-Vee grocery store on Edgewood Rd.

Radio DJ Jaymz Larson, Producer Mike Ferris and local rocker Curt Burgess hosted a marathon broadcast from a make shift studio set up inside a glass-encased truck.

It was named Stuck in a Truck Food Drive, and it raised thousands of pounds of food and hundreds of dollars in donations for the Linn Community Food Bank.

The radio station returns to the Edgewood Rd Hy-Vee this Tuesday October 15 for a 12 hour broadcast to fill the truck again.

From 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. they'll be asking listeners for donations to help pack the truck with non-perishable food items for the Linn Community Food Bank.

"It's a fun day but it's also really important work" said Larson. Listeners and friends are encouraged to donate groceries and stuff the truck with the goal of filling it completely by sundown.
