Yesterday was a difficult day for the state of Iowa, especially local restaurant owners and their employees. Governor Reynolds announced that all restaurants and bars would have to close their doors to the public through March 31st. Luckily, restaurants are able to stay open for delivery and carry-out orders.

These next two weeks will be rough for locally-owned restaurants here in the Corridor, which is why we want to let you know about the ones that will remain open for business with non-dine-in options (there are lots of national chains open, too, like Biaggi's, Jimmy John's, Subway, McDonald's, and IHOP). If you are healthy and financially able to continue patronizing these businesses, we encourage you to do so! Yesterday, I called and then picked up some lunch from The Local Craft Ale House in Cedar Rapids, and it was super quick and easy. And my Buffalo chicken sandwich was delicious!

We asked you guys to tell us about local restaurants that are still open for carry-out and/or delivery and then started to compile a list by city. Click the name of the restaurant to get more information on their carry-out or delivery options, their hours, their menu items, and their phone numbers. Many restaurants are only open for small windows of time on specific days, so be sure to check each page for more information.  This is by no means ALL the restaurants that are open, so be sure to let us know of any others that we can add! We will be updating the list throughout the next few days as we get more information.
