We interrupt your regularly scheduled bad news to bring you something hilarious!

On Friday afternoon, Facebook user Holly Parks spotted something out of the ordinary on her way out of work. While crossing the skywalk overlooking Third St SE and Fourth Ave SE, she noticed a Tyrannosaurus rex crossing the street!

She took a quick video and posted it to Facebook, and it has since received a ton of attention. When I spotted it this morning, it had over 1,700 shares! But, the question is: who is this mystery dinosaur? After going through some of the comments on the video, I discovered that it's a woman named Amanda Phelps.

Amanda said she saw the video pop up in her newsfeed after a frustrating evening of trying to find toilet paper. She had no idea that somebody captured the moment on camera! She wrote in the comments that she had the inflatable costume with her at work and joked with her boss that she wanted to use it as her "protective bubble" from the coronavirus. Somebody bet her that she wouldn't do it, so she proved them wrong! Amanda wrote on the Facebook post, "I'm glad I was able to make people laugh with all the craziness in the world right now!"

Thank you to Amanda for spreading a little bit of joy here in Eastern Iowa, and thank you to Holly for capturing the moment and sharing it! I think we could all use a little more laughter in our lives right now. :)
