Being a server can be hard work.

Tipping and how much you SHOULD tip is already a huge debate. I know we probably will never reach a mutual consensus about this, but apparently tipping was at one point actually ILLEGAL in Iowa.

Uber is following in the footsteps of Lyft and allowing passengers to tip their drivers right through the Uber app.

That is, unless you want to get a bad rating.

Let me start by saying I've never worked in a job that relied on tips. I frankly think it's an unfair practice against the servers, but it's commonplace.
