Ten Top Teachers: Anna Upah

May is National Teachers Appreciation Month and we’re honoring Ten Top Teachers in Eastern Iowa. 

We give thanks to these educators who bring passion and purpose to their jobs everyday.

Today we salute Anna Upah, a 1st grade teacher from Benton Community Keystone Elementary School as our third of Ten Top Teachers!

Lisa Upah nominated Anna, and tells us she was chosen by her superiors as a teacher who serves on many different committees in the school district. She has been a teacher for 6 years and during this time, she managed to go back to Drake and get her Masters in Teacher Leadership.

Congratulations and thank you, Anna, for your dedication and service to your students!

Each of our ‘Ten Top Teachers’ to be recognized will receive a prize pack from Tanger Outlet Center in Williamsburg, valued at $50. All ten teachers will then qualify for a grand prize drawing for a $650 prize pack from Tanger Outlet to be awarded on May 31.
