Event for Outdoor Lovers Coming to Cedar Rapids

It's almost time for the 42nd Annual Cedar Rapids Sportshow!

Lovers of the outdoors will want to be at the Double Tree Convention Complex in downtown Cedar Rapids next weekend for the show. It starts on Friday, January 31 and runs all weekend.

This event is the Corridor's largest display of boats, RV's, outdoor products, vacations, fishing and hunting opportunities, fishing tackle, hunting gear and more. There will be a variety of seminar presentations throughout the weekend. These were a big hit the last few years and that's what I'm really looking forward to this year. There will also be a Boating Club simulator where you can test your boating skills, which sounds pretty cool. I plan to spend a good part of the day at the Boating Club booth.

Also you can check out fishing seminars, land management, tips for serving your RV/camper, turkey hunting, kayaking...basically everything involving the outdoors.

The Cedar Rapids Sportshow runs from January 31-February 2 in downtown Cedar Rapids at the Double Tree Convention Complex. Parking passes are just $7. More information can be found here.
