This summer's Iowa State Fair is shaping up to be a fantastic event!

According to the Des Moines Register, one of the most popular tents at the Iowa State Fair is moving to a much larger location. The Iowa Craft Beer Tent is relocating just to the west of the Richard O. Jacobson Exhibition Center, which is over near Gate 10. It will be in a brand new permanent tent that's three times the size of the old one! The Iowa Craft Beer Facebook page reads:

"We can all agree that with the amazing beer that Iowa breweries are producing, the happiest crew at the fair, some of the best musicians the fair has to offer, and our great fans that visit us each year that we have outgrown our home of 10 years at the Iowa State Fair. While the tent will always hold a special spot in our hearts as the birthplace of the Iowa Craft Beer Tent, it was time for a change."

The Iowa Craft Beer Tent featured around 60 breweries at the 2019 Iowa State Fair, but there are over 100 here in Iowa, so hopefully more of them will join in the fun this year! You can check out photos of what the new tent will look like HERE.

The 2021 Iowa State Fair will take place August 12th through the 22nd. You can purchase your tickets online HERE.

The Iowa Craft Beer Tent will also be featured on this year's RAGBRAI route, which will be held July 25th through the 31st. You can check out updates on where they'll be and when HERE.
