The Fruitzen Shack is Back (Spoiler Alert)

Nothing says summer quite like a stop at the Fruitzen shack for a delicious snow cone creation. But after construction in the Collins Plaza, and the closure of the Fruitzen Frozen Yogurt shop, there was concern that Fruitzen snowcones would be gone for good. I'm glad to say, that is a false rumor.  As we were driving around on Mother's Day, we stumbled upon the stand's new location. And the "shack" is back. And surprisingly, it's not far from the previous Collins Plaza location. In fact, it's right across the street.  Your summertime destination is now located in the parking lot of HyVee and JoAnn fabrics, just outside the Lindale Mall parking deck.

Although the exact location previously wasn't announced, it was certainly hinted at by their facebook page just the other day.  We don't yet know when they'll be open, but we'll sure be watching, knowing we're not alone.

BTW: While they'll remain at the ballpark, it appears the Blairsferry location, outside Blue Lagoon, is done according to the comment string.
