2021 isn't even over yet, but next year's Iowa State Fair is already off to a great start!

Country superstar Keith Urban has officially announced a new tour, and it'll be making a stop right here in Iowa in 2022! Keith's “The Speed of Now” tour will be taking over the Grandstand at next summer's Iowa State Fair in Des Moines on Saturday, August 20th at 8 p.m.

Opening up for Keith is another talented country singer, Ingrid Andress. You may remember Ingrid from her debut hit single "More Hearts Than Mine," which was nominated for a CMA and Grammy Award in 2020.

Keith was actually scheduled to play the Iowa State Fair back in 2020, but, as we all know, the entire fair was cancelled that year due to the pandemic. Then, in early June, we got word that he wasn't able to reschedule his show for the 2021 fair, so Dan + Shay took his place on stage Saturday, August 21st. We're happy that he was finally able to make things work for 2022!

Tickets for Keith Urban's concert will go on sale at iowastatefair.org next Friday, December 10th at 10 a.m. But, if you had tickets for his 2021 show, you will be emailed a pre-sale code that will allow you to get your tickets one day early! Tickets range from $45 to $90. You can get more information on the concert HERE.

Keith Urban's show is the first Iowa State Fair show to be announced for 2022, but he's not the only big artist to be playing here in Iowa next year! Check out a list of other concerts scheduled in 2022 HERE.
