The Most Popular Beer in Iowa, According to Men
When it comes to beer, you have a lot of options. There's brown ale, pale ale, wheat, rye, pilsner, stout, porter, lager... you get the idea. But, let's talk brands. What's the number one most popular beer in America? The answer is not surprising.
The website AskMen did a Google Survey of 1,000 men here in the U.S. to figure out the top beers in all 50 states. The #1 beer for the state of Iowa was Budweiser, which also happens to be the top beer overall, with in at 18.4%. I guess it really is the "King of Beers." Coors Light came in second place overall at 13.7%, and Corona was in third with an 11.8%. Here are the top choices for the Midwest states surrounding Iowa:
- Illinois/South Dakota/Missouri - Budweiser
- Minnesota/Wisconsin - Coors Light
- Nebraska - Miller Light
My favorite choice has to be from Idaho, though. Mike's Hard Lemonade was chosen as the top beer over there, which is strange because it's not technically beer... right? You can check out more results from the survey HERE.
