The Most Popular Trader Joe’s Item in the State of Iowa

I don't know if you've had a chance to visit the Trader Joe's in Coralville yet, but if you haven't, you need to GET ON THAT! I absolutely love Trader Joe's, so I was thrilled when they announced they would be opening their first Eastern Iowa location back in 2017.

Trader Joe's is a grocery store, but with some very unique items. The Iowa River Landing website says:

"Trader Joe's is a neighborhood grocery store with amazing food and drink from around the globe and around the corner. Great quality at great prices."

Personally, my favorite item to buy at Trader Joe's is the Bacon Cheddar Ranch Dip. It is MAGNIFICENT. That wasn't the number one most popular item in Iowa, though. According to a study published by Food & Wine, the most popular Trader Joe's item in Iowa is the Sweet Chili Sauce. And, we are not alone!  The Sweet Chili Sauce is the most popular Trader Joe's item in the U.S., coming in first in 13 different states. Favorites in other Midwest states include:

• Illinois – Everything but the Bagel Seasoning
• Minnesota – Chocolate Lava Cakes
• Missouri/Nebraska – Sweet Chili Sauce
• South Dakota – Macaron Variés
• Wisconsin – Danish Kringle
