The Truth About Wisconsin’s ‘Worst City’ Revealed
What does it take to be considered the absolute worst at something?
Like, how bad do you have to be in order to own the "worst?"
I mean, I'm not a great cook, but I'm certainly not the worst. So when I hear something designated as being the worst I wonder "How bad could it actually be?"
Well, according to Wall St. 24/7, the worst city in Wisconsin is, I guess, pretty bad.
I'm guessing for two reasons, 1. I've never seen this place with my own eyes and 2. I feel like the reasoning is kind of flimsy.
Anyway, Wall St. 24/7 says Two Rivers is the worst city in Wisconsin.
If you're like me, you're probably wondering where exactly Two Rivers is located and if there are indeed two rivers that run through the city.
To answer the first question, Two Rivers is northeast of Manitowoc and for the second there are two rivers running alongside the city.
Here's the interesting thing about Two Rivers and why I have a small beef with Wall St. 24/7's explanation as to why it's the worst city in Wisconsin.
The poverty rate in Two Rivers is lower than the average for the state. Home values are less expensive than the rest of Wisconsin and "drug-induced mortality" is also lower than the average.
Those were the key metrics Wall St. 24/7 used so what gives? I'm not sure. Household income in Two Rivers is lower than the rest of Wisconsin but I don't think that should automatically qualify the city as the worst but maybe it's something else.
Do you have any idea why Two Rivers was considered the worst city in Wisconsin? Have you been? Tell us why you think it might be the worst.
