Theisen’s Presents Annual “More For Your Community” Grant Program

Theisen's Home, Farm and Auto storesalways have "More For You", and, each year, they continue to give back with the "More for Your Community" grant program.

Across the Theisen's footprint, $350,000 in grants are made available through their charitable foundation, with each store receiving $5000 to give to applicants working on community-minded projects "that most effectively and directly serve the basic needs of families and children: food, shelter, education, safety and health". More than $2 million has been awarded through this program since inception. Some other numbers are shown above pointing out the impact this program has had.

The application process is now underway and you can go to this link for more information.  You may also apply in person at any Theisen's store. Applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits, government-sponsored organizations or school-sponsored organizations and directly serve children and families within 60-miles of a Theisen’s store. Application deadline is July 31, 2019.

Theisen's operates 24 locations in Iowa, including 2 in Cedar Rapids and 1 in Coralville.
