Driving safely should always be the top priority.

Practicing safe and sober driving is the ideal way to combat this. Another way to guarantee some sort of safety is to be extra cautious when traversing roads that have a notoriously dangerous reputation.
In it, these officials were able to determine the most dangerous roadways in every single state, including Iowa.
According to the data, the deadliest highway in Iowa is I-80. This roadway sees approximately 19 deaths every year and runs through Des Moines and Iowa City. Obviously the most traveled roadway, through some of the most populated areas of the state, would also be one of the most dangerous ones.
I-80 is also considered the most dangerous in Nebraska, Wyoming, Nevada, and Pennsylvania.
