With the devastation from the storms last week still impacting many parts of Iowa, Townsquare Media Waterloo wants to lend a helping hand and is asking for help from the Cedar Valley community.

On Thursday, August 20th, Townsquare Media Waterloo will be holding a donation drive in front of the Black's Building in downtown Waterloo from 8 am to 11 am. Community members are welcome to stop by and drop off donations to help those in need of disaster relief. These items could include cleaning supplies, bottled water, canned food, charcoal and more that could help those Iowans who are still trying to put their lives back together after the horrendous storms.

Townsquare Media Waterloo will also have station swag for all who drop off donations. Any donations and help are greatly appreciated. These donations will be taken to drop off sites in Cedar Rapids and Marshalltown to help with disaster recovery on this coming Friday, August 21st.

Here is a list of needs according to the Iowa Derecho Storm Resource Page on Facebook: Ice, Tarps, Flashlights, Gas Cans, Coolers, Charcoal, Non-perishable Food, Extension Cords, Batteries, Candles, Fuel, Diapers
