Iowa junior forward Tyler Cook is expected to announce he will be leaving the University of Iowa and entering the NBA Draft. The St. Louis native tested the draft process last year but returned to school after his evaluation.

Scott Dochterman reported on Twitter that a source told him Cook will be entering the draft:

Later Thursday afternoon, came this tweet from Matt Weitzel, University of Iowa Associate Athletic Communications Director:

Cook, a 6 foot 9 inch 250 pound forward, averaged 15 points and 8 rebounds for Iowa this past season. He was named second-team All-Big Ten by the media and third team by the league's coaches. Cook posted 15 double-doubles and was one of only nine players in Iowa history with 1300 points and 600 rebounds for his career.

Cook would become the second player with eligibility to leave the Iowa program this offseason. Guard Maishe Daily announced that he was transferring out of the Iowa program. It Cook also leaves, the Hawkeyes would have two open scholarships available for the 2019-2020 season. Iowa will be getting several frontcourt players back next season. Jack Nunge and Cordell Pemsl will be back after redshirting. Four-star recruit and coaches son Patrick McCaffery will also be an incoming freshman.
