Urgent Notice About Lisbon 911 Service

Developing news out of Lisbon, as it's being reported landline 911 service is currently not functioning.

CBS2 says Lisbon PD is aware of the situation and crews are working on it. We will you update you as to when service is available. Some cell phones are still able to connect to the service.

It's a dire situation for a community's 911 service to be unavailable, especially given recent weather conditions. No official "cause" for the outage but you have to think weather probably has something to do with it. Not good.
