In a time when the future is unknown, many of us feel disappointed because we have to stay home and can't socialize with others. But at least we all have a home. A home with heat, internet, cable and a warm bed.

I spoke with a homeless person in Cedar Rapids over the weekend. As if things weren't bad enough for these folks, the pandemic has made it even harder.

During this time of isolation, just remember there are people here in Eastern Iowa with nowhere to go. This pandemic had made everything harder for them to find a meal and a warm place to sleep at night.

Let's hope for the best, we're all in this together. When this is all over, I'm sure we will all appreciate the little things that life has to offer.

God bless and stay safe my friends.
