Warning: Cat Food Recall

My cat is going to have a hissy fit over this!

According to NBC, "The J.M. Smucker Company has announced a voluntary recall." This is bad news if your cat is currently dining on "Special Kitty," a wet food the company produces.

Apparently the ingredients do not meet the quality and safety standards. If you have this in your pantry, please throw it away immediately. Feed your cat a mice-cream cone instead.

My little guy prefers Meow Mix. We don't carry the expensive stuff over at the crib. He turned his paws up the last time I brought in some gourmet cat food and it put him in a bad mewd.

So again, it you have any of this "Special Kitty" in the house, get rid of it right away. Your cats health is important and we don't want anything bad to happen.

If your cat has eaten some of this food, please contact a vet ASAP.
